Ladies' Nights Out Have Never Been So Crafty!

Frequently Asked Questions

How did PP begin?

In January, 2017, I hosted ladies from my church to craft as part of our women's ministry.  Through Facebook sharing, many crafting evenings followed!  KC Pinterest Parties (PP) was officially started in April of 2017!

How often do you offer PPs?

I hold at least one public party each month and private parties as scheduled.  To maintain our family time, I book no more than four PPs per week.

Does everyone have to make the same thing?

Because projects are led step-by-step, in most cases, all will make variations of the same project.  Want even MORE variation?  Check out the "Private Party Bundles" tab above!

Can we hold our PP somewhere other than the studio?

While the vast majority opt to contain the mess to my studio, I'm happy to come to your venue!  I'll work with you to be sure your venue has everything we'll need (tables, chairs, electricity, water, etc) and will be set up when I arrive.  A travel surcharge will apply.

Can we bring snacks? Drinks?

Yes, yes, and yes!

The studio has a dedicated refrigerator, stove, and microwave!  We've had everything from pizza to birthday cake!  You're welcome to bring your own alcohol as well.

How do you give back to the community?

Battle Boutique - regularly donate inspirational signs to those newly diagnosed with cancer

Timber Sage Elementary - held a PTO fundraiser, donating a portion to the school

Redeemer Lutheran Preschool - donated to silent auction

My Favorite Products!

You asked!  Here it is!

(I'm not affiliated with any of these, I get nothing for recommending them ... I just think they rock!)

Handheld Power Tools

Dewalt Impact Driver - My most used tool. Seriously. Just get one. You'll thank me.

Drill Master Impact Driver - My first ever tool!  Not quite as powerful as the Dewalt but $20!  I own several!

Drill Master Jig Saw - No, it's not the first saw I'd buy, but for $23, it could be! Change the blade often, cut with the back of the wood UP

Tracing paper & vinyl

Graphite paper - No vinyl cutter? No problem! Use a 40% coupon!

Chalk paper

I order pretty exclusively from 651 vinyl. It doesn't come on a tube but it's cheap & great quality.

"Where do you get your wood???"

For real ... Lowe's.  And that's just because I get 5% off with my Lowe's card.  I use mostly "common boards" - just walk into any Lowe's/Home Depot*, ask for "common boards", and they'll even cut them for free!

*go mid-day on a weekday, in an exercise skort, for the best service ... Trust Me.

Consumer Crafts - fabric paint, unfinished wood, paint pens
